Creating a Healthy Lifestyle That Will Ensure a Long and Vigorous Life
Universal Design for Learning
(UDL) principles help educators customize their teaching for individual differences in each of these three brain networks.
A universally-designed curriculum offers the following:
Multiple means of representation to give learners various ways of acquiring information and knowledge (the what)
Multiple means of action and expression to provide learners alternatives for demonstrating what they know, and (the how)
Multiple means of engagement to tap into learners' interests, challenge them appropriately, and motivate them to learn (the why)

"It boils down to studenthood-in-perpetuity / curiosity-in-perpetuity / applied fanatic restlessness. That is, a belief that life is . . . ONE BIG LEARNING EXPERIENCE. Something mysterious happens to a curious, fully engaged mind -- and it happens as often as not, subconsciously. Strange little sparks are set off, connections made, insights triggered. The results: an exponentially increased ability to tune up / reinvent / WOW-ize today's project at work." tom Peters
